Sure, it is now in a 16:9 aspect ratio, but since the texts are not upgraded there's not much use in the new visual aspect, and the UI is still big. Which is fortunate since they really didn't bother at all to upgrade them in any way. The character models still look nice, and the cartoonish style in the world design is excellent. One positive thing about not upgrading the visuals is that the original engine in these titles was really solid. There isn’t even much effort put into the UI, as the text on the screen still looks as big and chunky as it did back in the day. There’s no job done to the textures, no upgrade in the character models, nothing went into the redesign. It's too simple and conforms to an adaptation of what we expected in the series.
